Hey everyone its that time again. Its time for another contest!

Since contests are a "forum" thing I'm going to be taking charge and starting one for this month. Though since I'm just the Forum's Admin/Moderator it will be the staff that decides the winner. I just handle forum stuff, not really the voting.

Septembers Contest

Item Discount

This month's contest will be a token discount on the item you submit. The discounts will be 50%/25%/10% off of the tokens cost that will be determined by the team. If you want a general idea on how much items cost and what you can and cannot put on them look below:

Link to: Server Rules - Weapon/Item Creation Chart

I would like to see a decent size submission with at least 300 words on the items description and pictures if possible. Give us a history of the item, how you got it, stuff like this will likely help you win the contest and get your item other than an obvious "I want an item for the power boost". Also please only one submission per player. If you have multiple characters, pick one to submit for.

On top of the token discount each submission will be worth 10 of my forum tokens for the effort you put into your submissions even if you don't win the discount you can always apply the tokens to the item if you still want it.

Ao Same-Kami Yoroi

Blue Shark-God Armor
Contest - September Asphault_Sharks_by_zsabreuser_zps25af9059 Contest - September Blue_samurai_by_starr_king-d4qrm5c_zps8ec8aff4
The Armor has been passed down in Mist from generation to generation of swordsman preferably it's Number One, but when Mist was taken by the Covenant, a lot of history was lost and a lot of artifacts unique to the village fell down into the depths of hidden mystery. The Ao Same-Kami Yoroi was one of those artifacts, build with scales of the strongest steel and each scale covered in the finest leather made from the rough skin of a shark. It is the spirit of Kirigakure' that is said to protect the wearer, not the armor. No matter the mythos, this armor is undeniably powerful containing a unique spiritual property that would make the wearer strongest against spirits.

The armor is actually intelligent, possessing a personality similar to that of an honor-bound samurai warrior, but with shark-like tendancies and mannerisms of speaking. This is due to the fact that there is indeed a spirit inside the armor, not Kirigakure's spirit but the demon shark "Yogo-Shamaru". The spirit can manifest it's appearance to the user of the armor whist worn as a bipedal shark with two muscular arms instead of fins and adoring it is the same armor that the user is wearing. From this perspective, the Spirit is often said to guide those who wear it's armor in effective combat. Yogo-Shamaru's alternate form that is found in ancient scrolls in Kirigakure is that of a massive shark with a demon-like appearance.

It is this very same Armor that was used to combat and drive off the Six-Tails during a particularly nasty assault on the Village of Kirigakure in the days before traditional arts of creating Jinchuriki were employed. Mist always had a habit of seeing this armor defend it during it's greatest struggles whilst one warrior wore it. Maybe that's partly why it fell to the Covenant? Nobody needed to wear this great protective force against an enemy that remained unseen.

Aside from the Lore, the Armor itself consists of some basic powers and one unique power. It's abilities range from a near impenetrable and indestructible construction and fusion of spirit energy. The armor also protects the wearer from spirits, granting them the power to drive off Jinchuriki and their spirits that they harbor. Containing a power from a great shark-spirit itself, the armor's power against Tailed-Beasts might be due to the fact that the spirit itself that inhabits the armor is one of the spirit-chakra formations that never developed into a tailed beast. The spirit inside the armor also lends it's knowledge of combat to the wearer, making it easier for them to learn new tricks.

Using a pre-approved effect item, just expanding the story to fit the requirements and to explain the overall structure of the 'item'

Item Name: Gokuin Aikoushahonoo 'ファニング炎のシール' Seal of the Fanning Flame
Item Type: Permanent Seal - Item Cost 80 Tokens
Description: From Shieo's younger days he had a comrade put a fuuinjutsu that reacted to his bodies' reactions through chakra signals. This core seal that is located on his stomach allows the expansion of its' power through additional seals, always leaving an end to improve the overall functionality of its previous seal. This goes the same with the Gokuin Aikoushahonoo, the overall structure is to allow chakra to follow the flow of the seal both externally and internally. The reasoning is simple enough, to release some stress amongst the rest of the complex system of natural chakra paths in order to allow him to focus on battle and allow what he knows rather than instinct to create a quicker method of chakra usage.

The seal itself is located on his upper back the center being an Uchiha Fan to symbolize his families' extraordinary chakra levels and expansion, as well as being on the spine and connected through a chain with the fuuinjutsu and his body this allows him to direct the purest of his chakra all around his body. The remainder of the seal is spiraling and stretched across his body in a tribal and fuuinjutsu pattern that connects to the core seal across his ribs.

Though capable alone to create the seal, Shieo was never truly capable of sealing it on himself as not only would the placement be imperfect, but the overall structural integrity would be at a loss due to the chakra having the possibility of melding in with his own leaving no lasting effect. In order to counter act this possible flaw, Shieo spent a month and a half on his down-time in order to create a script that will allow a single person to utilize the fuuinjutsu on his back. Creating the paths to mimic his body the shape, length and overall form to match his own on paper. Upon the completion there was only truly one person left alive that he could trust to do the seal properly and not leave something reminiscent to use on him in the future, proceeding to go to his fiance he instructed her in the skills of Fuuinjutsu, in order to match the complexity of the technique. Luckily due to her nack of learning, and teaching being one of the Academy instructors Taiga learned quick enough to have her skill equivalent to what is required. Upon the time of action Shieo had furnished a room with the proper tools and medical products that if the technique had failed, would have a way of repairing the majority of the damage done. The seals being etched underneath him as he sat there listening carefully as Taiga chanted the quiet messages and the sound of the patting of her hand going through the seals he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, shortly after a cold palm placed on the upper half of his back. A surge of chakra flowing through his body, her own chakra touching with his as they co-operated in order to form the bond between the two, however not dominate or destroy the other. The feeling of paths opening almost acting like a fresh drink of ice water after a day in the desert running. His eyes opening in a sparkle and his mouth sprawling to a smile. Proceeding to look down at his chest and stomach to watch the blackened seals etch across his body and connect to the core seal. Looking back the smile still on his face as his eyes show the overlapping thankfulness to his fiance.

DF: -3 to all CP costs (Min 1). Sharingan Cost Reduction: 3 CP Activation & 1 CP Maintenance

Description Word Total: 593

Not really many pictures that fit the description of the seal. So opted out to find some :c

Chimamire 血まみれ [Bloody Mess]
Aninhari Clan Blade

The Chimamire is an ancient Samurai blade said to have been forged among mythical blades such as the mighty Masamune, Muramasa and Kusanagi blades. Sister blade to the Chikaryu 血赤龍 [Blood Red Dragon] the Chimamire stands as one of two famous blades that have been passed down between the head and heir of the Aninhari Clan of Samurai. Of the two blades, the Chimamire is notably the more notorious of the two blades due to its overwhelmingly common use in combat. While the Chikaryu tends to me more of an ornate [albeit still deadly] symbol of status amongst the Aninhari Clan, the Chimamire is not only worn, but wielded proudly by the heir of the Aninhari Clan.

The blade itself is said to have 'teeth' that have been attached to the blade via the forging process, that originated from the mouths of slain demons. These teeth supposedly rip and shred into their victims, leeching blood into the blade and causing incessant bleeding that tends to be nearly impossible to stop without stopping the momentum of the swordsman behind it. Capable of tearing deep into the tissue of its victims, the Chimamire is believed to feed off of the very blood that it spills from its opponents. Often, battlefields that the Chimamire has left in its wake are covered in blood and, when indoors, look more akin to a torture chamber than anything else.

The Chimamire is an eastern blade [more specifically, a Katana] with a total length of 80.3 cm. The Suka [or hilt] of the blade is wrapped in a cross-pattern of crimson, morbidly darkened red cloth and fabric. It is rumored that this cloth used to be white, but had simply become stained with the blood of so many enemies that the red could not be properly cleaned out, and thus the cloth was stripped and replaced with the darker red cloth, to keep the color uniform. Whether this is accurate or not is still up for debate.

The Tsuba [or handguard] of the blade is a heptagon with the insignia for the Aninhari clan carved around a central point, into the steel guard. The blade of the Katana seems to be tinged a light red, though that is more due to the process of forging through which the blade went in order to give it its unique shape and the metals used which allow the user to more easily channel their chakra through it in order to achieve a desired effect.

The edge and blade of the Chimamire is where the name really comes into play, however. The steel has been forged to mimic the dual-line saw, effectively making it a doubly serrated edge that is useful for tearing deep wounds into opponents. This allows for the user to cause more debilitating damage with specialized techniques, as well as allowing them to open multiple wounds at once in their enemy. The steel is also coated with a chemical agent when it is polished [which is advised to do at least once at sunrise, and once at sunset], which acts as an anticoagulant when it cuts the skin. This chemical, refined from the oils of several different herbs, hinders the opponent's ability to coagulate their blood. The more of the chemical that enters the bloodstream in a short period of time, the more blood-loss suffered by the victim.

DF Statistics
+1d4 Bukijutsu Damage [Includes Basic Attacks with this Weapon] [15]
+1 to Bukijutsu Durations [D.o.T., Debuffs, etc.] [20]
-3 to CP Cost for Bukijutsu [60, maybe lower due to specialty?]
1 D.o.T. for 2 rounds for each successful attack. [Consecutive hits refresh the duration and stack damage] [???]

Total Cost: 95+???

チャクラRYU無 - Chakura ryū no hōsha tebukuro

Contest - September M98

In an age before jutsu and ancient bloodlines were formed, chakra was a yet an ambiguous and mysterious power. Among the few whom were only beginning to understand the latent abilities of one’s soul and strength of character were the monks that resided deep within the forests now known as the land of Kusagakure.

It was said to be these mysterious nomadic monks whom were one of the first who tapped into the raw power of chakra. Legends tell tales and relics suggest that the monks were not the ones whom originally discovered these powers, not without guidance. Painted on ashen walls were images of a radiant dragon, as alive and majestic as nature itself. A creature that inspired awe within all whom witnessed its grace, and the monks were no exception. The creature seemed to be constantly surrounded by flickers of life and light as though a living manifestation of the very earth itself.

After years of a silent and peaceful co-existence, came a fateful encounter that changed the regions and later, the world. War had spilled onto the sacred lands as the struggle for power and resources began to spread amongst different civilisations. Word of a mystic beast quickly spread and the speculation led them to believe they had discovered another tailed beast. In an endless struggle for power, the clans raced to capture and subjugate the tranquil beast.

The docile dragon was soon cornered by armies of men seeking to control its power. Little did they know, the dragon itself possessed no power that could rival the tailed beasts. The majestic creature’s strengths were different- rather than sheer destructive power; it granted restoration and life. By attuning itself and those it chose to the power of the very earth itself, it grants immeasurable healing that mends the soul, mind as well body.  And it is through this power that the nomadic monks later gathered the knowledge of chakra and its utility.

The struggle to capture the dragon was relentless and in their haste and desperation, the armies left the dragon severely wounded. Crippled and badly injured, the dragon barely escaped the piercing siege weapons of the many that pursued it. In its exhaustion, it collapsed, its raspy breath reverberating gently in the air. Chance so had it that a young girl, orphaned and abandoned with the monks, stumbled upon the beautiful creature and urgently soothed the beast whilst she attempted to treat the injuries. However, she was unable to do much on her own. She needed help and the only ones who would do so… Were her guardians.  Before long, the entirety of the temple. Old and young, man and woman, had all gathered around the majestic creature. Slowly and carefully, they created a harness which enabled them to move the beast. The monks had the sense to realise that treating the dragon out in the open left it vulnerable to discovery, and in its weakened state, it stood no chance. Hours went by as they assisted the dragon, finally stabilising its injuries. They had moved the majestic drake into a hollow cave within the bark of a giant tree, a place held sacred to the monks and one that was kept secret from all but the elders and wise of the monastery.

The dragon's distraught breathing evened out in a few days and as it awoke it observed the humans. They were so different from the others. Nurturing, pure of mind and soul- these were humans who deserved to have their kindness repaid. And it is this moment that bestowed upon the monks the secret knowledge known only to the sentients of nature. The monks eagerly learnt as the dragon slowly recovered, guided by the dragon they began to channel chakra in its most basic form. Weeks turned to months and the dragon remained, bestowing the gift of knowledge on the monks, whilst they in turn gave reverence, love and company.

These moments of peace and tranquillity would not last much longer. The invading armies infiltrated deeper within the forest and soon enough the monastery was found and its residence occupied and overrun. The monks were not bred warriors, but they practiced a form of martial arts that helped preserve the mind and body. Even with this training in its most basic form, when the monks applied the skills of chakra manipulation taught by the dragon, they managed to do devastating bodily damage. And so the monks' fierce struggle for freedom began. As time passed and the war raged on, the dragon's injuries had fully recovered, but the presence of the monks was steadily decreasing until it disappeared entirely. Even with their acquired knowledge, the monks stood no chance against the devastating weapons and siege machinery the foreigners possessed and were eventually enslaved or killed.

Event still, the dragon waited patiently within the cave, years passed and still no one came and until there came a time came when it too had to depart, however not without one final act of kindness. As it prepared to leave, the dragon's body glowed and slowly it began to moult, peeling off its outermost scales. And using its powers, it moulded its scales, condensing and reshaping it into a pair of gloves.

The gloves held a part of the dragon’s spirit, changing and reacting to the natural world around it. The majestic’s beast was connected to the item in a fashion that allowed it to channel basic thoughts and emotions. So long as the spirit and the dragon were alive, the gloves would never lose power nor shatter for its essence and source of power was life itself. Unbeknown to the dragon, this radiant gift, bestowed to repay kindness and show gratitude had never found by its intended recipients. Centuries past but none had discovered the cave, nor had anyone returned to it. Not until recently.

A silver haired teenager had found herself drawn to the cave, as though being guided by an invisible tether.  Yuki made her way into the cave, her radiant byakugan shimmering beneath the bandages at the sight before her. The cave was teeming with life. Animals, flowers and light itself seemed to concentrate around a pair of beautiful shimmering gloves. When she reached forward, the gloves pulsed and came to life! The vines wrapping around her arms and attaching themselves to her. Yuki’s eyes widened and fear coursed through her as she struggled to free herself of the glove, but as the feeling came, it seeped away. She experienced the oddest sensation, as though someone was calling out to her, calming her. It took her a moment to adjust but as she did, she felt an ever present warmth wash over her. Something was different, the world around her seemed more vibrant, and she was more aware that she was a part of it than ever before. She shut her eyes and let the warmth flood her veins, spreading the spirit through her and her skin seemed to gain a smooth and tantalizing glow, imbuing her with nature’s natural beauty.

Raijin's Left Arm

(Picture is being drawn, will post soon)

Type: Gauntlet
DF:
Calculates CP via Wisdom instead of Charisma
+2 DR
+1d6 Lightning damage to Ninjutsu, Taijutsu and NinTai.

(Six Years Ago)

Lightning roared over the heavens, illuminating the night with cracks of light. Flashes of shadows dashed through the drizzled fields of rain country. As the shadows came to the cliffs, they halted before the bridge that closed the gap. "This is it." was said. One of the shadows revealed themselves as a man with darker skin, and bright-blonde hair. He turned to the other, whom had his face covered by a thick wrapping.. only his left eye visible. He spoke in response to him. "Aye... I can't wait to see the look on his face." He took a few steps fowards, as the lightning pierced the sky again, illuminating their Kumogakure headbands.

As they began to make their way across the bridge, they were halted by a shower of needles. They pierced the stone, just before them as their trained senses warned them of the trap. "Hmph... Here come the rats." mocked the face-wrapped shinobi. Three shadows appeared from the distance, as they made themselves visible. A trio of folk, draped in dark robes with a straw hat keeping their heads dry. They looked beyond their hats, towards the pair with red eyes. "What business do you have, interrupting the peace of Amegakure?" The pair looked at each other, then back to the three guards, laughing hysterically. "Gwaahahaha! You honestly think you can take my wife and not expect me to come find her? You're either stupid, or uninformed... I'm guessing the former." He kept back his chuckling long enough to speak, before he reached out his hand, letting lose a stream of lightning towards the trio. The three covenant ninja leaped into different directions, escaping the lightning, each atop a rock. "Hmph..." one of the ninja began. "You're assaulting... one of the largest covenant encampments, with just the two of you... and you intend to escape alive?" The masked man just huffed behind his cloth, as he began to handseal several times, forming a massive fireball that sizzled in the rain... Enormous, as it engulfed one of the boulders, having barely missed one of the covenant ninja, whom panted and began to speak. "Haah... not one to talk, huh? Guess we'll settle this, then." The three ninja handsealed simultaneously, as they moved into a triangle formation, striking their hands into the ground. "Grand Summoning: Moshiyuku" as they shouted the name of their technique, the obvious Yotsuki just grinned, striking his hands together... his now uncovered left arm encased within an ornate golden armor plate, brimming with electricity. "Oh, how I've been waiting to get a use out of this.."

As the smoke from the summoning cleared, a monstrous roar shook the earth, louder than the thunder in the distance. They saw not one or two... but three heads poking out from the smoke, a massive hydra-looking creature looming over the pair. Its guttural tone shuddered the air and caused the rain to shift directions. "Hm hm... We were awoken... for this?" The three heads slithered their tongue out to taste the air. "I see... a Yotsuki and an Uchiha. Very interesting pair." The Yotsuki just scoffed, and reached out his armored hand to release a massive bolt of lightning. A bolt of black lightning drove into the beast, which stumbled backwards, and landed on its back. "You look upon the Guardian to Amegakure, fools..." Muttered one of the guards. Slowly, it began to raise again, as the three heads synchronously roared into the sky, starting to snap at the pair. The now known Uchiha, moved quickly out of the way as he began to handseal to summon forth a barrage of fire missiles. The beast only cackled in response as the missiles failed to harm it, as apparently, did the black lightning. The two looked at each other, and the Yotsuki spoke. "Thinking what I'm thinking?" The 'Uchiha' responded with a nod. Now they were serious. The Uchiha dropped down the mask, which revealed an already active sharingan in his right eye, while the Yotsuki formed a field of lightning around himself, activating his Lightning Armor. In a flash, the two moved almost as if they were mirroring each other, the Yotsuki flashing to the side as the 'Uchiha' moved to the opposite. They both began handsealing, as the Uchiha formed a massive barreling fire dragon, while the Yotsuki formed a matching lightning dragon. The two spiraled about before plummeting into the hydra, crushing it beneath the dual elemental dragons. "Combination Art: Twin Dragons of Calamity!" The ground shook with a low rumble, as the beast fell, dispersing into a large cloud of smoke... the two Kumogakure shinobi exhausted.

The Amegakure ninja, already having exhausted their chakra from the summoning, rose their hands in defeat. "J-Just.. please.. d-don't kill us!" The cowered covenant, having witnessed their guardian fall before even getting off an attack of its own, spoke in fear. The Kumogakure shinobi scoffed, before moving past them, towards the gate of the hidden village of rain. The 'Uchiha' covered his eye again, and panted softly. "You know, Jokan.. we probably could have taken that thing without our secret technique.." He glanced to Jokan, whom responded with a snicker and a smirk. "Hah... you keep looking at the details, Haza, and not the idea. Look how scared they are... terrified to know that their guardian was killed by us." He continued to walk with a wide, proud grin. "But that's not the end of this... Their leader may not get involved, but expect some serious competition." Haza nodded and approached the gate with his friend. The gates, which suddenly blast open, reveal the pair of shinobi in the cloud of smoke and debris. "Knock-knock." Spoke Jokan, as the pair started to enter the village. They realized this might have not been the best of ideas, having caught the attention of half the village... although these two weren't just shinobi. Jokan looked to Haza and spoke. "Take care of these dogs while I look for Marlene." Haza nodded and then looked to the group of encircling covenant ninja... Jokan vanished in a bolt of lightning. Haza looked around and sighed. "Hnn... I was expecting more resistance... Oh well." The air grew dark around Haza, as he was engulfed by shadows...

Jokan made his way around the village, noticing a building that had an unusual amount of security, given that his friend is drawing all the attention. He just smirked for a moment, and raised his hand into the air, lightning cackling along the golden armament. Suddenly, he would vanish, appearing behind one of the guards silently as he covered his mouth and set his palm against his back, electrifying him. He moved to the next one, and the next, until he made his way inside. Once inside, he noticed the lightly luminated rooms, finding it hard to see. Though he kept alert, he heard the silent muttering of his target, Marlene. His wife. As he got close to her, he smiled and a tear raced down his cheek, before he started to undo the rope. Suddenly, as if pulled by the shadows itself, Jokan was tossed aside, into the wall as the wooden brace shattered under the force of his thrown body. A dark chuckle echoed through the shadows. "Hm hm hm... you can't honestly believe I'd let you get her that easily, do you...?" Jokan swore under his breath and pushed himself to stand, using lightning to channel through his arm so to illuminate the building, revealing Azan, the doppelganger. He looked exactly like Jokan, almost like a mirror, with the golden armor covering his right arm instead. Jokan quickly reached out his hand to summon a bolt of lightning, as did Azan in mirror. The lightning clashed, thundering through the building halls, and Jokan dashed in afterwards, flickering out of place and before him, quickly trying to crush him beneath his fists.

Azan dodged, before dropping low and swiping his legs out from under him with a low kick, suddenly leaping back. "You can't beat me, Jokan... I know your tactics, I know what you can do." Jokan groaned and paused for a long moment. He thought long and hard over how he could beat him, and it occured to him that Azan couldn't replicate techniques he doesn't know he has. Jokan grinned widely at his nemesis, standing to his feet, before reaching out his hand, that cackled with black lightning. "You don't know everything, Azan." The lightning leaped from his palm, shattering the ground in a path towards him, deafening the ears. As the ionized smoke slowly cleared, Jokan feared the worst... he didn't see a pained Azan beneath the cloud, no. He saw someone else in place of him, with long hair and sad eyes. Azan had replaced himself with Marlene, letting her take the blow instead. He laughed aloud, as Jokan fell to his knees, totally overwhelemed by what he had just done. And to him, it was his fault. Azan walked over to the dazed Jokan, lifting him by the collar of his shirt, as he spat into his near-lifeless expression. "Pathetic.. Love is wasted on the weak." He tossed him aside, before signaling his guards, whom rushed inside. "He's no prisoner of ours- he's already lost everything. Just toss him out of the village." He glanced back at the 'dead' Jokan. "There's no torture that could pain him more than he's already endured." He smirked and turned to leave, while the guards tossed him outside...

(Present Day)

"You're late again, Amariss." Grunted the agitated Jokan. He glanced over his shoulder at her as she stepped inside their house at near midnight. She bowed respectfully and closed her eyes, a light mutter escaping her lips. "Gomen ne, Otōsan." He slammed his hand on the low table, growling back at her. "How dare you apologize!? You've been out for six hours, where the Hell have you been!?" She winced at his roar, holding back sobs. "I-I've been training... like you asked of me... I even finished that technique you showed me." She said, looking at the floor. He turned back towards the table and nodded. "So... you finished Lightning Strikes the Mountain, then?" He grinned wide. "You really are my daughter..." he said under his breath, quiet to Amariss's ears. "Then, I have a gift for you. Take it to heart, because it's the only one you get." Amy's eyes lit up and she picked up her head. "S-Seriously, Otōsan?" Jokan nodded slowly. "Don't get used to it... but it should help you in your career." He stood from the mat, walking back towards his room.

Amariss just stood there, waiting for her father's return... her eyes lit up aglow when she saw him return, and a large golden gauntlet in his hands. "W-Wow... this.. is for me?" He responded with a nod. "Hai, this was mine when I was a shinobi. I had it crafted for me using Aurargentum as the main metal, which helped me combine chakra into it... So it should be simple for you." She stood there silently for a moment, her mouth wide open. "Sugoi... I can't wait to use it!" Jokan closed his eyes, offering it out to her. "Go ahead, try it on." She nodded and took the golden metal, as she strapped it onto her arm. She blinked at the lightweight metal, despite the size of it. "Wow... this is really amazing... I can already feel my chakra reacting to it. Arigatou, Otōsan!" He turned and smiled slightly. "Glad you like it. Now, get to bed. Now." Amariss looks up at him with a nod and went to her room, heading to bed. Jokan went back to his own room, as he lifted a picture of himself, Amariss, and his late wife, Marlene. He smiled to it for a long moment, before speaking aloud. "The armor you made for me is still being used, Marlene... By your daughter. I bet you're proud... Though I'm not fit to wear it anymore. I couldn't save you, so please.. watch over her instead."

     +1d4 cp regen

Before Kirigakure was destroyed Conall was just a normal, lazy shinobi. He didn't do anything too difficult or time consuming. He loved just taking naps and hardly doing anything at all. He was constantly challenged to spars where his opponents actually planned to kill him afterwards anyway. He always won but every time he always had a difficult time and that's when he decided that he needs some way to make these fights easier to give him a better chance to survive these spars. One day he read in a book that there was a water bottle that when filled with water, the water supply would never run out and the water bottle would also increase the drinkers spirits, make them more healthy, and increase their chakra reserves. It was then he decided to go search for this water bottle.

He asked around his entire village for where this water bottle may be located but all the villagers just thought he was crazy for believing in that type of "garbage" as they called it. He decided that if they were not going to help him he would have to find it on his own. He decided to keep reading up on this strange water bottle and all the stories pointed towards one destination, Nadeshiko Village. He figured he should head on out in an attempt to find Nadeshiko Village but first he needed a map. He headed to the enarest store he knew of that even sells maps and managed to get a map to Nadeshiko Village. After that he set out in search of Nadeshiko Village and therefore, to this unique water bottle.

Conall managed to reach Nadeshiko Village without any trouble and after he was inside he figured someone should know something about this water bottle. He must have asked pretty much everybody in the entire village but no matter who he asked, no one knew the location of the water bottle. When he was on the verge o simply giving up, a man walked up to him and said "So, i hear your looking for the Infinite Bottle of Water." Conall nodded and the man said that he has also been looking for the bottle of water, also know as the "Infinite Bottle of Water" and he also said he knew the location but getting there is harder than expected. The man then suggested that they both work together, he would tell Conall the way and tell him of the obstacles before-hand to think of a strategy, and Conall would get them passed the obstacle. Conall agreed and together they set off to find this bottle of water.

They encountered the first obstacle that the man said was a simply pressure plate system with arrows, a very basic and simple obstacle. Conall decided to simply take the man and jump up in a tree to pass through the trees. The man forgot to mention though that the pressure plates weren't just on the ground, but the trees too as Conall stepped on one by mistake and sent a multitude of arrows straight at him and the man. Even though he triggered the trap by mistake it still wasn't too hard to pass, he just took his kunai out and started to deflect the arrows as he continued to pass through with the man until they passed that obstacle. The next obstacle would be a bit different, this one was another simple trap, it had a rope tripwire and if you triggered it then two logs would come down to smash together. Conall took the man around the only tripwire he saw and the man forgot to mention how many tripwires there were. There were many tripwires all so close together that if you stepped over one, the next was right there. Conall stepped on the one tripwire right after the other one he stepped over and then a big line of logs on either side come down for at least 15 yards ahead of him and strangely, behind him too. He needed to get all the way across to the other side before he got crushed in-between all the logs. As he jumped forward and attempted to pass through on the other side he was too slow, it looked like this would be the end for him but then he felt a great force behind him, not painful but more like a boost. This force pushed him and the other man all the way across on the other side of the logs and too safety. Conall knew there could only be one explanation, and that was wind style jutsu. He knew they were not alone, or he thought they weren't anyway.

As they continued forth there were no more obstacles and they shortly found a small pond of water and the water bottle and as they walked up to it the water in the pond was clear and pure, and the water bottle looked like brand new. As Conall reached for the water bottle He heard someone behind him yell "Wind style, Minor Gust jutsu!" and as he turned to see who it was a gust of air slammed into his back and knocked him forward.  He got up and turned to see it was the man that helped him get this far with a smirk on his face as he spoke "You don't think i brought you all the way here to be nice, did you? That water bottle is mine so I'm afraid i have to kill you now, runt." Conall got up to his feet and glared at the man and pointed his hand at the man as it mimicked that of a gun before shooting a water bullet right at the man and smacked him in the face with it. The man then made multiple hand signs before he spit out wind, so much wind that it even took the shape of a dragon as the wind dragon nailed Conall, but almost took all of the man's chakra away. The man then went to grab the bottle of water but before he could, Conall grabbed the water bottle and kicked the man away and quickly knelt donw filled the water bottle with the clear and pure pond water while the man was still recovering from the weak attack. Conall quickly took a sip to help restore him and then he stood up as the man was coming back at him. Conall turned towards the man and gave him an evil and maniacal grin. Anyone in the area near there then just heard the man scream in pain and next thing Conall knew, the man was laying on the ground dead. Conall then made a silent vow to himself to never open himself up to anyone like he did that man because if he did, it could mean his life. He then made his way back to the village and he found out that the book he read was right, he never had to refill the water bottle since it always filled itself up automatically and it made him feel healthier. When he got back to his village he just went home and took a nap, this was way too much work.

Senju Family Heirloom: ガーディアンのハート Gādian no hāto (Heart of the Guardian)
Contest - September SenjuHeirloomSmall1_zpsafdca185
Description: Centuries ago, when the Tailed Beasts roamed freely among the world, causing havoc and destruction, the Senju were pressed to find some kind of answer to their devastating power. One of the Senju had been studying Fuinjutsu for quite some time, mastering specifically the strength of barriers. The woman, known as Munomori Senju, began to experiment with her barriers, infusing some of her life force into them and greatly increasing their strength.

A day came when one of the Tailed Beasts assaulted the village they were living in, she was called upon to try and defend the village with her powerful barriers. She managed to bring up a very powerful barrier, infusing it with a mass amount of her lifeforce and chakra, endangering her own life. The other shinobi of the village managed to distract the beast and lead it away from the village. However, much of her lifeforce spent, Munomori had little of her life remaining to her, and thus spent the next several years trying to find a way to help protect her clan and village. In the end, she created a necklace with most of her remaining life force within, forming the Heart of the Guardian.

The amulet was passed down among the Senju clan, the history around the amulet becoming a little obscured over time. However it was said the amulet was capable of reinforcing the life force of a Senju, increasing their chakra reserves and allowing them to draw on the amulet for additional strength.

Due to the Senju Clan falling apart over the years, and their recent partial revival, Erin went in search of this Senju artifact, often spending several days or a few weeks out looking for the Senju artifact. Eventually she would come across it in Konohagakure, after it had been depleted of Covenant forces. Sealed under the old Senju Clan compound from before, released only by a Senju, Erin would enter into the broken place. She found many Senju things, old clothing, a few random treasures of people from the past, and finally concealed within a bag of Ryo she would find the Heart.

Claiming it as her own, Erin would take it with her back to Kumogakure, toying with it and drawing on its strength when needed, she would try and mix the amulet’s latent barrier properties with her own magnetic field, increasing the defensive strength of her field, to form a minor barrier around herself to help negate incoming attacks of all sorts.

A Senju artifact of old, Erin would treasure the amulet forever, letting it rest below her collarbone.

Blades of the Ancient Senju

Senju, the clan of one thousand jutsu, was known throughout the lands, their shinobi strong, quick, and resourceful, and able to tackle any mission given to them.  These shinobi were not always what the legend portrayed them as, it took years for that reputation to be earned.  While earning that reputation, they utilized every tool the shinobi of today take for granted, developing tactics, jutsu, and weapons as the secrets handed down from the Sage of six Paths were delved into.

One of the weapons they began to master, was the sword.  There are several types of sword, the weapon had been around for eons after all, and every culture which had aspired towards martial prowess had their own twist upon the basic design.  For some, the katana became the pinnacle of their art, while others would swear by a scimitar, longsword, gladius or rapier.  All the different styles of sword had their advantages, all were deadly in the hands of a trained master.  The blades of the Senju however, had to be more then just a cultural twist on the common design.  These blades needed to contain the heart of the clan, which required more then external appearance.

While many different styles of blade were adopted, with just as many martial stances to go with, they shared a trait between them.  They all could assist in the channeling of the unique abilities of the Senju.  Further, these early blades were made by the same smith, Watanabe, Jinsei.  His name has been lost to history, as have the weapons he was commissioned to make for the early Senju.  Before his death at the hands of the Uchiha, who could not pass up the opportunity to eliminate the source of Senju weaponry, he made a final set of swords in the Chokutō style, which were to be delivered to the current clan leader of the Senju, as a coming of age gift for his son.  They say that while the craftsman may never know which work may be his last, the kami do.  These final works of art were instilled with the power of every future weapon Jinsei could have possibly forged, and indeed some of the essence of the master smith himself.  This would play a vital role in the days to come, as he left to deliver the weapons to the Senju clan leader.

The Uchiha ambushed him along the way, killed his assistants and left him upon the road with a hole in his gut, leaving him to die by animals or the elements, whichever happened along first.  Left alone, dying, and unable to fulfill his, now final, contract, Jinsei despaired.  The Uchiha had left the wagon of the smith burning, another torture as he was to be forced to watch his work destroyed by flames, yet that method of torture was the way in which Jinsei was able to save his final work.  Braving the fire as he stumbled to the wagon, he reached into the inferno to pull forth the locked chest which contained the blades.  The metal of the handles seared his hands, while the heat cooked his arms, though what were melted skin and pain to an already dying and defeated man?  The lock of the chest was melted, as was the trim itself, locking the contents inside and saving them from the harmful effects of the fire.

Taking that chest, the smith of the Senju stumbled through the woods.  As most people do in their final moments,  by ancient biological drive, he sought a cool, quiet place in which to have his final moments.  This place happened to be a cave, just far enough from the road to be unseen, and with enough foliage around to ensure that it would not be discovered without a search.  Once inside his tomb, Jinsei the smith used his final bit of strength to move a boulder, and slide the chest into a small alcove behind it.  Moving he boulder back was the death of him, and he breathed his last upon that stone, an unmarked crypt for never to be legendary smith.

Kaito wandered happily through the woods, having been dismissed from the academy for the remainder of the day, the young boy practically frolicked through the trees and bushes outside his home.  Gathering an armful of leaves, he tossed them into the air, then giggled as he tried to dodge them once they began to fall.  He only did this kind of thing while alone, as the other students, even his friends, would think him childish.  Shinobi had to be strong, tough, and not play games!  He nodded as he reaffirmed that, while in public, he had to be serious, but that didn't mean he had to in private!  Running as fast as he could, he tried to leap onto a rock, and into trees (to gather leaves from the source of course) though with his petty chakra control the result was instead him launching himself off the rock, and then tumbling down a hill.

The rolling young man gathered leaves and sticks in his hair, cuts and bruises upon his arms and legs, and even some tears in his eyes as he tumbled uncontrollably down, down, down.  Suddenly the sun was gone, and Kaito had stopped his rolling on a hard, cold surface, with dust all around him.  He wiped the wetness from his eyes, standing up slowly as he cringed with each movement.  The cuts have left small red marks on his clothes, and upon the floor of the cave he now found himself in.  Stifling a sob, the young man removed the leaves and twigs from his hair and clothing, throwing them to the ground with disdains his chest heaving on the verge of losing the small bit of control he had regained.  As his eyes cleared, he took stock of his surroundings.

The cave was small, and appeared to be nothing more then a place probably used by bats, and other animals on an as needed basis.  He took a few steps deeper in, then froze.  There, not five feet from him, was a skeleton.  Well, the bones that would make up one at least.  The upper body was draped across a boulder, the bones showing bite marks on them as the forest creatures had clearly feasted on the flesh of of the dead man, and the lower body was scattered across the area around him.  Kaito took a few, fearful steps back, then turned and fled that cave as only a terrified and wounded ten year old shinobi in training could.  In tears.

Present day

"It has to be around here somewhere..." Kaito said as he leapt from tree to tree.  It had been years since he had been out this way, the playground of his childhood.  The nostalgia was hard to suppress, and the smile from the pleasant memories impossible to keep back.  Today however, today was not one for the remembrance of happy memories, but for one that he had forgotten until recently.  He had woken in a cold sweat the previous night, seeing that cave in his dreams.  With the door open now, the entirety of that day came rushing back to him. The pain, the terror, and him stopping by a stream on the way home to wash himself up so that he could lie to his parents about what happened.  That morning he was off before breakfast to find that cave again.  He couldn't leave a memory such as that in his mind.  It had to be confronted, defeated, and that was what he was going to do today.  If only he could find the damn cave!

Launching from tree to tree, Kaito aimed for a large rock and landed lightly upon it.  He didn't know where he was when he had fallen, but he knew he was close.  This area was familiar, and there was a hill nearby.  This forest covered an old road that traversed the Land of Lightning, though easier passes had been discovered some time ago which rendered the old road system pointless, as it added days onto the journey through the land.  Since then, entire villages had disappeared, and the forest had reclaimed the road, just as it did the land which people had called home.  Stepping off the rock, Kaito walked to the edge of the nearby hill, and peered down it.

It wasn't too steep, upon inspection, though when you're young everything is bigger.  Shrugging, Kaito slid down  to the bottom, and brushed the burrs and bits of grass from his shorts upon finding himself on level ground once more.  Strolling forward, he finally spotted what he was looking for, a cave.  Excitement hurried his steps, and he was soon inside the opening into the earth, the coolness a welcome respite from the sun outside.  It wasn't more then half a dozen steps which took him to the bones that had so scared him as a child, and looking upon them now?  This was the grave of someone, someone who had been stabbed just below the ribs on the left side, the bones telling the tale of the wound that killed this person.  Judging by the width of the hips and shoulders, it was a man as well.

Moving closer, Kaito knelt to get a better look at the remains.  To think he had been so afraid of this when he was a child, and now it was merely something to be studied.  Standing back up, Kaito chuckled, the sound echoing through the cave before he put his hands down upon the rock.  "Not so scary now are you huh?" he taunted the skeleton.  As he put his weight upon the ancient stone, it shifted slightly under his hands.  Looking down to it with surprise, Kaito's curiosity spiked, and he gave another shove to the rock.  It slid with some difficulty away from the wall, revealing a small, dirt filled crevice, with the glint of gold beneath.  His eyes widening, he knelt quickly and began scooping the dirt away.

The alcove revealed a box, the scorch marks and wavy texture of the metal revealing the fire damaged nature of it.  Taking the chest in both hands, Kaito dragged it out of its resting place, and ran his now dirty hands along it.  That there, was that the ancient crest of the Senju?  His heart beat in his chest, loud enough to put an entire drum line to shame as tried to open the box.  It was locked, and furthermore the hinges and rim of the chest had melted together.  Taking a moment to gather his chakra, Kaito channeled a small bit of katon to his finger tip, and used that to move along the edge of the box, effectively cutting the top of it off through the weakened metal that had sealed it.  The cut complete, Kaito put his hand to either side of the lid, and took a deep breath to calm himself "Let's see what treasure we find...." and with those words popped the top of the chest.

Inside were two swords, straight blades still in their scabbards, with the Senju clan mark upon each pommel, and sheath. The craftsmanship of just the hilt and sheath alone was breathtaking, these weapons clearly meant to impress, but looking closer he could see they weren't just show pieces.  Removing one from its setting with a delicate touch, Kaito's hands shook as he took hold of the hilt in his right hand.  The steel sung as he drew it from its home, the first to ever do so since the blade was forged. The edge was still razor sharp, the metal reflecting the dim light of the cave enough for Kaito to partly make out his own reflection in it.  Pushing the weapon back into its sheath and placing it in the box, he replaced the top.  Standing up and grabbing the nearly melted handles, Kaito tested the weight, then hefted it and placed upon his shoulder.

Walking from the cave, a dirty, face smudged with dust Kaito grinned, then laughed with joy.  This trip had been more rewarding then he could have ever hoped for.
