Marked with kunai and shuriken were the trees of Kumogakure's forested mountain. Ikari, the raven-haired kunoichi, sat against one tree exhausted and out of breath. She thought to herself, how she could train around others without summoning the wrath of that terrible creature she would turn into? She thought long and hard about any possible way, and decided that training alone was the best choice. However, she wouldn't train on her ninjutsu, or anything like that. She would train entirely on her ability to retain her consciousness during the transformation. The first few times she did it, she quickly began to balance her chakra, which balanced the Fury Chakra within her as well, the easiest way she's found out to induce the 'transformation'. After a few moments of her exercise, she could feel a boiling rage within her, the insatiable need to destroy everything. An uncontrollable fury that only became more vicious the longer she focused. And suddenly, she'd lose focus, driving herself to a black out, where she would have let the chakra control her, having a mind of its own. She had destroyed trees, uplifted roots and burned the ground. Her body was covered in a massive blue flame, where her eyes pierced the flames with a bright blue glow.

"Kyahahahaha!!" She chucked madly, her voice mixed with something resembling a demon's. She glanced around, scanning her surroundings, and her eyes widened. "Where is everyone!?" She immediately sent a fist into the nearest tree, cracking it beneath her fist, and growling low. "Someone fight me!!" She shouted at the top of her lungs, before she let loose a low sigh. Being unable to fight allowed her to calm, and thus the flames on her body vanished, leaving a naked Ikari on the ground, slightly confused... and also curious. "I... I need clothes... that don't burn." She also looked around at the training area, noticing how quickly it was just torn up. Though, quickly for Ikari... as she blacked out, and roughly thirty minutes had passed. She stood to her feet and wobbled back to the village. When she arrived, she looked for the tailor, and asked for her specific fire-proof clothes. Excited to make the clothing, she was given a yukata that was sewn out of a unique thread that didn't burn. Her pants were made out of the hide of a salamander, a unique creature found in a distant land, a lizard that commanded fire. Thus, Ikari's outfit was made, and didn't burn up when she 'transformed'.

She went back to train for a while, just basic training exercises, when a thunderous boom was sounded in the distance. Alerted to the explosion, given away by the smoke, she quickly dashed to the scene. Hidden behind several bushes and foliage, she watched patiently, not willing to give herself away to the two she saw standing at the epicenter. She couldn't hear them talking, but they were looking for something. Both wore strange white robes that made them stand out pretty easily. She tried to get closer, slinking around the treeline and to the other side, where she was almost right in front of them. She was still unseen, which gave her the element of surprise, should she decide to attack. Instead of attacking however, she listened for a long moment, as she could finally hear them. The blonde-haired man spoke low, but loud enough that she could hear him. ".. said that we should be looking for a silver stone... you'll know when you see it- it glows in the sunlight." The other, brown-haired man was much shorter, almost childlike. He said with a rather happy tone. "Yeeah, well when we find this, you think he'll make us stronger than his prototype?" The other replied. "Probably. Kozuki's always got something big planned." And the name was so familiar, it was like a nail in her frontal lobe. Instantly, her eyes narrowed and she shouted out at them, her eyes glowing a faint blue. "What do you know of Dr. Kozuki?!" She stepped out of the foliage and they both turned to look at her. "Eh, Kumogakure ninja. Probably came for the explosion." The blonde said. He looked to the other and motioned his head towards Ikari. "Get her."

The shorter boy nodded and had a wide grin on his lips. "Ooooh, I get to play with her~" He said, drawing a small folded object, that extended into a scythe. Holding it behind himself, he took a few steps towards her, and Ikari's eyes sank. Shit... I wasn't thinking, this guy is probably really strong. Dragging the blade across the ground, the boy suddenly leaped into the air, and literally stepped off of the air, launching himself at Ikari. Without much time to think, she made a quick handseal, trying to escape. However with the lack of time she was given, it had already happened. She was cut through, a blade piercing through her stomach, as he stopped behind her and swung the scythe backwards to send her through the air using the blunt end of the weapon. Ikari hit the ground with a loud thud, and everything got pitch-dark. Her vision started to fade, and the last word she heard was "... laugh..." Laugh? It didn't even sound human. She tried harder to listen, and everything got darker still, but her hearing started to come back. ".. Truely... pathetic... Kyahahahaha!" She heard a demonic cackle as the voice shattered the silence in her head. She was entering a dream, and she knew it because it was hardly realistic. She was in her room, with what she immediately recognized as her parents... A young woman with blood red hair, and a man with raven black. They looked happy together, sitting at a table, eating their breakfast.

And then it was gone.

In a flash, the entire house erupted into flames, blue flames that consumed everything. Including her parents. Sitting there, alone and cold, despite the massive flames Ikari just felt the pain of the entire world collapsing around her. But it made her remember why she became a ninja to begin with. Through the choking smoke and the blinding flames, Ikari stood out from her corner and into the middle of the room, where the flames enveloped her, shining like a bright light. And then her vision returned. She was staring through the flames that she had recognized before, but at the boy with the scythe, whom had a look of absolute terror strewn on his face. She had lost control again. But now, she could not only see and hear what was going on... but she could listen to the voice that was her darker half. The demon that would have split the boy in half if the blonde-haired man hadn't stepped in the way. She took a step back and watched them carefully for a moment, as the blonde began to speak. "Y-You.. You demon.. If this is the results of Kozuki's experiments, I'm not sure I want to participate!" Ikari just grinned and scoffed towards him, before speaking, a mixture of her own voice and the demon's. "Don't worry... Pain is the least of your worries. I'm not going to kill just you... I'm going to kill you... the boy... your entire group... And Dr. Kozuki." She reached out with a burning arm and let the flames leap outwards, trying to consume him within. But he had handsealed and a bright light flashed, allowing them to escape. Ikari just swore to herself and looked around, desperately searching for the two.

"Dammit... they're gone." She closed her eyes, and almost as if it were instinct, she had suddenly reverted to her original form. The flames had burned her visible flesh, but her clothes were still there. Her eyes ceased their demonic glowing. But the voice remained, ever in her head. "Why not search for them, Ikari..? I know you very well... and I know that you wouldn't just let them go." Ikari just shook her head. She had a mixed feeling of fear and hatred... Fearful of the power she now commands... and hatred for those that gave her this dreadful curse.
