Manuscripts [Yamanaka Yasuichi's Writings]

A screech wailed as the blade erupted fiercely with a distinct silver flare that rattled my bones with such an awe, I almost buckled where I stood. Never before had I witnessed a technique that radiated so much authority with such intensity; the chakra blade commanded all of our attention. I knew that kunoichi before him feared for her very life. The Inka were no joke, and although I had only recently acquinated myself with Kiyoshi I realized his family held their positions with not only tact and diplomacy, but they carried huge flaming poking sticks as well!

A gust of gritty wind iniatiated the first round of confrontation. Genjutsu and Taijutsu all about when finally after Kiyoshi landed somesort of chakra sealing technique. The match was all but over. Lifting the massive weapon above his head, Kiyoshi brought down the wraith of generations as the blade screamed for blood in my mind with an unquestible roar. The embers ready to gnaw at soon to be parted flesh ,and the metal would ready itself to grind into tissue and marrow.

Blast her!

She rolled aside, my relative and missing shinobi; Yamanaka Youkuei. I took no chances and with my kunai hidden within the confinds of my regal purple garments and I darted between them. Looking into her eyes, like my grandparents, aunts, uncles, my cousins, and my own; I drew the kunai and flung into between us. My breath had left me. The move was reckless, and I had not calculated how much distance would be between us, yet I could not let Kiyoshi down. The kunai would have to work, and more surprisingly it was trailed by an exploding note!

I was thrown into Kiyoshi and as he held me up. Everything happened so fast, but she managed to escape unscathed as well as myself! I had paid my dues how could she have escaped?! Another smirk dawned her face as the harbringer of all sorts of bad news drew her own note and attempted to blast us back! Not a chance! I readied by seal, just like her. Just like us all as I sent my chakra into her. Causing her to lose controll, just long enough for Kiyoshi and mself to part was and avoid the explosive. She groaned and continued to be assualted by Kiyoshi. The Inka used his blade attempting to slash into her each miss egging the blade to erupt with more intensity until it collidied wih her being tasting flesh and taking the air from her lungs as she was hurled onto the ground.

The sight of blood had never excited me more than seeing Youkuei on the ground. She had taken more and more hits that I could have imagined, but I was no longer in the Academy now. There was noone to stop a match if someone was caught in a genjutsu. I knew once this had all started and I spotted the culprit that had robbed the Air Temple. I would be unprepared. Only death follows those unlucky enough in the shinobi to be at such a huge disadvantage of skill. However with impending victory things should have looked up. However, nothing is ever as it seems nowadays.

It has been a long time since I have been able to jott anything down. My thoughts are scattered now that mother is ill. It saddens me that I am not able to aide them and the bills are racking up. My troubles should be insignificant with the outbreak of war, my fellow shinobi being hunted down and kiddnapped if not worse, yet I love Mama. I do not think I can leave her side just yet. There is alot to be done, but for now I'll have to stay home with her.

The Clansmen have been busy lately as well. So many refugees around Sunagakure must be causing issues. I heard that one of ours was removed from the Inkan Compound. Rumors differ but from what I have heard of her it must be true. The Inka have generally been kind so I do not see why she would be disrespectful. Other than that relationship seem to be ok. In fact Konohagakure and Sunagakure may even be bonded stronger and better than ever. The Covenant may think that taking our Village was a show of how much power they have, but they do not understand what we as one will be capable of together! Just you wait Covanant, wait and learn the power behind our commitment to one another!

So sadly that has been it. Maybe I'll have more to write later! I shouldnt avoid any mission requests although I do hope the others understand with my predicaments. Forgive me family, friends, and allies. I will find the resolve to be a better person. I cannot let anyone esle down.

Being a Genin sure is rough! Lots of training today now that drills are being called out at a moments notice. I don't want to fail to bad, and I heard there are some tough Genin out there to! Today infact I witnessed a spar between two of them, and should I say I would have been creamed! Now really I don't feel bad because it is pretty hard to force your soul to take over someone esles body, but it has to be done. I cannot wait to be useful and take over infiltration missions! Who would expect one of their own to actually be a Yamanaka in anothers flesh! Haha.

Well speaking of that fight, or spar what ever. Some Genin are like mad using powerful B-ranked technqiues especially with no medical personnel around! What are they thinking if anything at all? Psh for (Whatever god we worship) sakes! Let's try and get it together! Hmm, this road has been looking so lonely hopefully I'll start making more friends. Anyone it's time to start more training! Haha I want to learn my second Genjutsu soon. Then I guess I can start working on Taijutsu. Yeah, that'll work.

The Yamanaka clan is all abuzz today. Apparently I begin training soon for my next Clan Technque. Father is busy right now but soon I will be able to rise in the ranks of being a true Yamanaka. I am so excited and fiddgety that I had to stop flower arranging with mother. Poor stems were getting bruised! Oh I have decided to advance myself at the libarary. I've caught my cousin in their a few times, and I feel that is too what I need to become a stronger individual. I relish the chance to try out for a Squad or what ever it is we must do. I would certainly like to take on missions!

Speaking of which I overhead that Youkei has been seen again. She is trying to kiddnap people again for ransom! Last time this occured she scarred me. If Kiyoshi and that woman hadnot been there I fear I may not have made it back to this Village and seen my family. Father and Mother refuse to speak on how I was taken from the villiage. Father did brutally warn me not to leave the Villiage without a Chuunin or higher present. I told him, we were the only ones availible but he simply glared at me. Oh woe is me to have upset father.

Then again, woe is me for thinking I could take on a prodigy.

Today was exciting. I actually left the library and chatted with some people. It was quite refreshing really to experience what Sunagakure has to offer. I never thought I would feel so at home, as when I left the destruction of Konohagakure. I am at a loss for the Compound, the flowershop and the like though. I truely miss it. I do tend to wonder what is occuring there and I never really understood how the Covenant was able to push us back. I know we are strong enough to take them on. Well maybe not me, but I know we are able to do it! I am going to have to seek my cousins out for training. Father seems busy with some sort of preparations.

Well, I started off talking to this nice girl named Min. She is really nice and claims she likes my ponytail. I tried to tell her it was just something everyone wore in my Clan. She gasped and asked if I was a Shinobi. I told her of course I was from Konoha. She just smiled and asked to meet me at the Oasis. I could have exploded from happiness at that point. She is really nice. One of the nicer people I have met. Well not that I meet that many people. I went of course. After my chores were complete.

I managed to complete then. Then I decided to start working on my techinques. Genjutsu and the like are pretty hard to master. In fact I have quite a hard time really. Hmm, I often wonder what will become of me when I try to become a Chuunin? I have heard stories of two sisters in my clan that are advancing quiet well with their telepathy. I bet if I really tried I could too. However I suppose I could follow my father's footsteps and advance in the espionage speciality of our family. I am actually pretty excited. So much training to do. I will go to the library and map out what needs to be done.
