A Proposal (Closed, w/ Sensui)

KARAIOU COMPOUND

Tonight in Sunagakure there are preparations for an important dinner being made. Akiza steps out of her bath glistening in the radiant setting sun with her Handmaidens in toe preparing to dress her for the big event. She would glance out the window impatiently, and through the trees spots an approaching Sensui to pick her up. Eagerly she bites her lower lip and then waves her maidens to go prepare her dress and cosmetics, while she finishes drying herself and combing her hair admiring the sight of the Uchiha before he is admitted inside the Karaiou compound and disappears from view.

Darting to her room, the handmaidens frantically get to work on preparing Akiza finishing her hair, while performing cosmetic applications, and then refining her dress after she slipped herself in. The young Hyuuga virgins appear to be very excited for their mistress in such a time in her life and with a man as handsome and respected as Sensui amongst the Uchiha. All the things that the spoiled Akiza really needed to hear to calm her nerves, and keep herself focused on the task at hand. So much was running in her mind, including the emotional strike that Kaga must be dealing with. But tonight was very important, as it is to be the first time that Akiza introduces Sensui to her parents who has an equally critical question to ask them. Suddenly, a soft knock would be heard on the door as Akiza takes a deep breathe and her Handmaidens finish off the final touches until she was sublime. The young Hyuuga girls would step back and form in rows as they bow meekly before Akiza and Sensui as he is invited into the room. Seeing him stand beside her, she would see him in a new light - no longer some teenage crush but a man who is going to be taking care of her from now for the rest of their lives together.

Approaching him steadily, she can feel her heart skip a beat with each step with her nervous eyes locked onto his calm and ever enigmatic emerald gaze. She would be wrapped in an immaculate white silk dress that would wrap around her smooth shoulders loosely, the dress itself would drag along the floor elegantly, with her legs clearly visible knowing it is something that pleases Sensui. Her own appearance must speak volumes to her parents, that she is no longer the spoiled bratty child they had raised - but a woman who is in love and is desperate to have their approval to give her hand away to this Uchiha. Everything had to be perfect for this night! She would take notice of Sensui’s hand outstretched before she takes it, and he can feel her palms tremble but Akiza tries to mask her nervousness with a soft smile.

“You look perfect Sensui, I am afraid you may out shine me tonight.” * she cannot help but giggle nervously, before she turns to her handmaidens and offers a gentle nod to them in appreciation * “Arigatou everyone. Wish me luck, huh?”

"It is impossible for anyone to outshine the sun and light of my life." Sensui responds, speaking in a calm and soft tone, but he smiles to Akiza. The smile holds and as their fingers trace eachothers they begin to walk down the hall.

Regardless of being told that what he normally wears is fine, he went out and got a new suit. A new suit that had embroidery along the left shoulder and arm. On the right shoulder, is an etched Uchiha symbol, depicting his house clan. Sensui cannot help but keep his emerald green gaze on Akiza, and how beautiful she looked, regardless of how much he knows that she dislikes the dress of choice given for the event.

"You are beautful, Akiza." He states, as they continue in stride. Sensui glances about at all the Hyuuga that offer their bows as they walk through the halls, and hes taken a little back by it. He leans closer to Akiza, his lips nearing her earlobe, as he whispers in a hushed, and low tone.

"I am unused to such attention. Your parents must be very important to the Hyuuga people. Is this something that will happen, when we create our own Dynasty? Our own house?" He asks, with a curious ring in his voice. He does, afterall, call her his queen -- and he means it. They will forge something so great in the future, that it will echo on for thousands of years.


As they continue to slowly advance, Sensui does catch note of the slit in her dress, a clear addition of her own, and he cannot help but offer a soft laugh to her. While holding her hand, he moves in so that their sides are cuddle for a moment, to deliver the unspoken message -- "I see what you did."

As they approach the edge of the corridor, they are stopped by the two guards that are at the door of the parents room. Sensui lets out a light breath, but first takes out two scrolls. He slowly sets them on the ground, and releases the chakra that he had stored in them. In one of the scrolls, a bottle of very expensive Sake, that is already heated up and warm. Kept warm from the fire chakra that sensui possess' naturally. The second, a box full of the finest silk found in Sunagakure, forged by the Hojo clan. The Hojo are expert tailors, and their quality is always the highest. He presents the gifts to the two, who then issue and order to have two other Hyuuga take them up, and go through first, to present them to the parents, before they enter.

As they wait, sensui turns to Akiza once more, offering her a nervous smile. His raven black hair, sort of covering his emerald green eyes, yet they still gleam to her, never removing them from her presence.

"So how long before they will see us? Will they examine the gifts first, or just call for us? ...I think I'm ready, I know there must be some kind of test to this right? I mean...parents, I've...never had to really deal with this before.." He laughs a bit nervously, rubbing behind his head, he keeps ahold of her silky smooth hands, taking in the scent of lavender once more, to help calm him down.

HOJO COMPOUND

Akiza blushes hearing Sensui's many compliments, working quite hard to make sure this night ends on a good note. She would carass a Sensui's face before leaning in wanting to plant her lips with his but a soft "Ahem" is heard by one of the Hyuuga guards who await patiently for their admittance inside their parents chambers. " It is going to be alittle difficult to keep my hands off you tonight, Sensui-kun. " She would admit openly, as is her nature being that of an open book and speaking her mind. It was always something that made her unique compared to most Hyuuga, where honor, duty, sacrifice is put above all else - Akiza appears to hold none of those dignified traits, at least to most. Those the do know her, know how much she was willing to sacrifice in her first arranged marriage with Kizuru which ended poorly, it was with alittle luck and a twist of fate that a "commoner" like Sensui had risen up to nobility as an Uchiha himself. A story she is sure to appeal to her father.

An elderly Hyuuga with white hair would approach the door, before greeting Akiza and Sensui. " Sorry for keeping you my lady Akizanami, your parents will be with you shortly - but please come on inside, the table and arrangements are set as per your instructions. May I ask... what is the occassion? " Noticing how radiant the couple are, and exceptionally handsome a certain Uchiha is who is baring gifts.

Akiza would smile brightly before shifting her gaze over to Sensui. " This is Uchiha Sensui, he is someone very important to me. And thank you, we will wait for them inside then. " Akiza takes Sensui's hand gently and guides him into the room. " Do not worry, my parents are like any other couple ... that happen to be Hyuuga. You will do fine. " She cannot help but giggle before pressing up against his side and strokes his arm in the hopes of reassuring him. " If they dont accept you, then I hope my love for you will be enough. " She leans in to peck his cheek, but before she does the doors into the dining hall would slide open and a Hyuuga couple stand in its midst. The white haired Hyuuga would announce " May I present, Lord Hoshikageru and Lady Hatsumomo Hyuuga. "

As both of Akiza's parents approach the young couple, Hoshikageru would appear to be a strong and charismatic man whose silence alone can command authority a unique traight about him is a grey line streak of hair along with his long jet-black lockes. Hatsumomo is a woman who appears to have an exact likeness to her daughter, but far more reserved in her outer appearance, with a timeless wisdom of a woman her age. Hoshigakure would glance over to his darling daughter with softened eyes as Akizanami leans in to greet her father with a embrace and then does the same with her mother, who appears to keep a fixated gaze over Sensui. Hoshigakure would take notice and swiftly shift a stern glare towards Sensui. " You are the Uchiha boy they speak so much about... " Says with some spite in his voice. Hatsumomo would approach Sensui and greet him with a bow before taking notice of the gifts in his hands, " Look Husband, he brings us tributes. "

Akiza would giggle, taking notice of the heat that her father is already giving Sensui before coming to his rescue! " Father, mother, this is Sensui-kun of the Uchiha. " Would slip under his arm, a hand placed over his chest lightly as she rests her head against his shoulder.

He stood tall, though it may be uncertain as to why. Is it because he's an uchiha or is it because he feels that he must remain ever vigilant on his own regardless of title...perhaps it's because an Akiza is on his arm. Regardless be stands with his head held high, and perhaps the typical Uchiha confidence that looms around him. He offers a bow in return to the father, then one to the mother, letting his emerald gaze set in on her for a moment.

"Well I see where Akiza gets her good looks from." he'd offer a smile to her, and give a light nod as the gifts be had prepared were presented.

"I would like you to use this fine silk to have a dress made, in order to excentuate your allure even further.". Sensui adds, before turning to Akizas father

"I have brought you the finest Sake I could find. I hope it is too your liking, it will remain heated due to a seal I have placed on it.". He says giving a light motion to the seal on the bottle that states "fire within".

Sensui would smile down to Akiza, letting out a light breath of nerves that he attempts to conceal to the best of his abilities. He would easily let her slink into his arms, and she can feel his heart race as her hand is placed on his chest.

His emerald green gaze glances about the fine hall in the quarters that they live and stay in. As he glances about, a few stray strands if his fine raven black hair sway in front of his eyes.

After a moment, Sensui brings his gaze back to the father, and offers a light nod, though nervously. "I suppose I am that Uchiha everyone's been talking about. I had heard they spoke of me before I even knew I had made a name for myself. I only hope that the name I carry, first not last, will be how you judge and advocate your choices."

Sensui makes sure to bring that up. He may be a noble now, as a part of the Uchiha clan..but it was not always so, and he would no forget the hardship he went through to get to where he is now. He is incredibly intelligent, even more than the Nara and the Kairayou. A true genius and it wasn't his blood that gave him that, at least not in his mind.

He waits and his heart still races as he awaits their response, felt by an Akizas soft, smooth skin. He once more, takes a breath of her sweet lavender scent, to calm his nerves a bit, the silky strands of her hair against his neck, he starts to feel at ease.

The proud Hyuuga Lord and his wife would take a keen eye on the younger couple and their behavior, each accepting the gift that Sensui brings with sincere appreciation as if he knew what each of them favored. The lord bows head in thanks before recieving his gift, and then motions for a hand-servant to approach and take the sake bottle for after dinner. The lady of the house too takes the gorgeous fabric, her hands gliding over the material pleasingly as if making love to it with her gentle carass and smiles warmly to Sensui and Akiza, " I cannot help but feel perhaps someone played a part in these, but they are deeply appreciated by my husband and I. Thank you kindly Uchiha Sensui. " Hatsumomo would lightly elbow her husband before he too becomes verbal, " Yes, thank you... We have dinner prepared we should go and settle ourselves. " He has his arm taken by his wife before escorting her into the other room, while casting a glance over to Akiza to take notice of how happy she appears.

After the gentlemen lead their ladies into their seats they would join them, with servants walking in offering entrys. Most of the meal is in silence with some awkwardness, Hoshikageru did not even lift his gaze from off his food possibly showing little to no interest to their guest. Akiza would frown before glancing over to her mother, and then at the two men who appear to be content eating in silence but it was deafening and unbareable for the two women. Akiza decides to break the silence, " So, mother... how are you and father fairing with my leave to stay in the Karaiou compound? "

Hatsumomo would smile in relief that her daughter has opted to speak up and break the silence, " We have been keeping ourselves busy, I have been entertaining other clan elders today with more conferences to be had that is sure to keep your father occupied as well amongst the kage. But, you are missed though I wish you would have chosen to wear something rather more traditional..." Already the judgemental tone cast by her mother, taking notice of her daughter's bare shoulders in her dress and revealing leg exposure, it was abit much to her liking. Akiza would simply clear her throat glancing over to her father a moment, " Father - you are awefully quiet, do you not have any questions for Sensui-kun? "

Hoshikageru would lift his head up a moment with the most intimidating glance cast over Sensui, despite his byakugan being unactive its piercing allure ever present as it glows from the shadows in a soft while luminscent demeanor, " What I need to know I have heard as much, about what abominable crimes he has commited recently against the Alliance. My concern is, what does one say to a man whose own kin already have proven great distrust amongst not only their village but also other clans as well? " Lord Hoshikageru Hyuuga clearly was not holding back anything, and his knowledge of recent occurances is formidable. Especially the capture of his daughter by Kizuru Uchiha, it had created a rift amongst the Hyuuga and Uchiha. Hatsumomo however would notice the tensions welling in her husband, she reaches out to place her hand gently over his to calm him down and just like that - he is pacified with his gaze shifting to his wife. Hatsumomo would catch notice of her daughter with a feint frown before turning to Sensui, and tries to explain her husband's point of view. "You must forgive my husband, my lord has been very stressed with a great many troubles in our world. It only makes things more difficult when your own child's safety is at risk... "

Akiza would step in trying to defend Sensui as best she can whilst keeping a meek appearance before her parents, because she knows her mother would have no trouble smacking the ho silly if she stepped out of line. Her mother, like the daughter are straight forward people and will react if wronged. " Mother, Father, Kizuru-san was acting on behalf of a crazed lunatic. One which Hyou-dono and Sensui-kun have been working tirelessly to supplant. Given the fact who this man is, it is difficult to say how or when Ryuu-dono will be subdued from his status as clan head of the Uchiha. Like-wise, the incidents that have occured recently with Sensui and the others are all somewhat false - though... they perhaps were involved in those crimes, they were not of their own will. It is difficult to explain, perhaps Sensui-kun can clarify but... it was as if he was controlled by someone or something. " She would glance over her parents with a troubled expression, clearly fighting hard to defend the honor of the Uchiha and that perhaps in its own right deserves acknowledgement that for once Akizanami is not thinking of herself but for another with a passionate zeal.

He would enjoy the food, not ever really experiencing a 'family meal' before he would slowly dig in regardless of wanting to just demolish all the food on the table. Taking things he has never tried before he would sample them each slowly. As time goes on and words are said, Sensui takes a final bite.

Sensui would place down his eating utensils, and places a calm hand on Akizas shoulder. He turns his emerald green gaze toward her, and offers a soft smile before he looks to the father once again. He clears his throat a moment before starts in this conversation he had anticipated.

"There is no excuse that I can give that will justify what I've done. Controlled or not, the actions were mine, and that is my burden to bear...however...that being said, I can assure you. The Sensui you see before you now is much more dangerous then the Sensui of corrupt power. I was not thinking things through then, as I do now...my strength does not lie in my eyes, it lies in my mind. I have heard the Nara are among the smartest in Konoha. I out witted one. Was I proud of the way it happened? No, but on the field of battle there are no rules except the ones written by the ones in the battle. Even while I was corrupt with that power, I did not bring harm to Akiza-chan. I will never bring harm to her, and when my physical prowess catches up to my mental prowess, there will be no one in the land she will be safer with. As far as my crimes against the village, you need not worry. Plans are in motion, moves are being played, and the ones responsible for the ruby kunai will soon be found, apprehended, and killed until the ring leader presents himself. The enemies that have made me look like a fool will pay harshly for their transactions, and I'm afraid it is only a matter of time before the final acts curtain falls in the lot of them.". Throughout the whole story, he remains a calm and soft toned voice. The analytical Sensui is back, and his young wise gaze never leaves the fathers as they speak.

Akiza would look awestruck with her soft milky lavander eyes glancing over him and his composed demeanor, he certainly didnt need any bit of her assistance to stand up for himself as she turns to her father in worry. The fact that the uchiha had spoken up to state his case and how he will serve honorably in defending akiza by any and all threats had reassured her mother. The fact he had spoken with little to no hesitation also shows determination and courage before the lord of the hyuuga, who nods to himself hearing the youths words in his resolve to clear the name of the Uchiha from the shadow of Ryuu and others like him.

" You believe you are capable of doing this, infact it seems as if you know you are. For your sake and the sake of the Uchiha I hope you are right. " Hoshikageru would take note that there is some hidden strength in the boy, something about his generation he has witnessed is slowly but surely surpassing their forefathers, akiza herself despite being an undisciplined child she is passionate about her art in dancing. Perhaps it takes abit more open mind and willing heart to really pass on the legacy of the old to the new these days. " Well then, I suppose that settles that. " Says Hatsumomo, as she smiles adoringly to her husband seeing that he is satisfied with the answer. " Tell me you two, how did you meet? " She cannot help but ask, how the star struck lovers have met, not wanting to pry too much but it is a mothers obligation to - let alone a hyuuga mothers to know and see all there is to be had.

Akiza would blush seeing the interest her parents have in their relationship before glancing over to Sensui and smiles warmly, " Well I suppose it has been sometime, but I wonder if Sensui-kun still remembers that gift he gave me. " She would grin softly, putting Sensui on the spot as the 3 nobles offer their attention to him.

Sensui would smile gently , both in relief of her parents seeming to accept the union, but also just to Akiza in general. "You know I remember everything, especially when it comes to you. I do hope you still have the drawing.".

He'd smile a bit, before taking out a blank scroll and a small vial of ink. He looks to the noble Hyuuga couple and takes in their image, his mind instantly taking each detail in of their persona. While his hand sways in a fluid motion, he also speaks, undistracted.

"Our first date happened, in Sunagakure resturaunt. She wanted me to try oysters...and it was an interesting experience. She also told me of the arrangement with Kizuru...and she didnt look too happy about it. And given what I knew about Kizaru, it was then, that plans were set into motion, and executed in order to secure her happiness. She told, that day..."If only you were an Uchiha, I feel a connection between us."

As fate would have it, I am an Uchiha and this just spead my plans up further. And now we are both happy, and will continue to be happy, until our last breath is drawn from this world."

As Sensui finishes speaking his hands make yet another few elegant strokes, before he turns his new painting over to the Hyuuga nobles. It is a picture of the husband and wife. The wife, elegant and sweet looking, yet a high standard of living in seen in her features as well. Long flowing hair, and the drawing catches her curves even while hidden under the drapped robe. The husband, disciplined and battle hardened, yet there is something soft in his eyes, a certain kindness that lurks below the depths that not many see -- Sensui has seen through it all, and through drawing he is able to explain a bit better his curse. He sees everything...

"I hope you enjoy it."

Both the lord and lady of the Hyuuga would take a pleasing look over their images and how he captures such depth in each of them. " Look husband, look how beautiful his skill is. " Lady Hatsumomo would look at the drawing in disbelief, with her hand outstretched to hold her husbands noticing how too he is delighted. Akiza would giggle to herself as she gazes between both her parents reactions " He is good is he not? Father, too is abit of an artist himself - he excels in Calligraphy and one of the few amongst the Hyuuga who specialize in Kenjutsu as well. " She purses her lips turning to Sensui, and mouths " Thank you "

Lord Hoshikageru would nod towards sensui in appreciation, the nod alone would speak volumes of the tough exterior that the Hyuuga tends to exude but Sensui managed to capture the softness about him when it comes to the two women in his life. " Well done Uchiha Sensui, you have great skill - perhaps Kenjutsu may be a path you too will take in the future. Something to consider... " With a soft glance to his attendant, he passes her the drawing and nods to her to bring out the warm sake that Sensui brought them. " We will now have a taste of that Sake, and see if it is as good quality as your refined skills in your art. "

The attendant would take just a moment to return with a tray of sake and cups as she places it in the center, there would be however only 3 cups - due to Akiza still being underage and her mother not condoning a woman of her age to drink alchohol. Akiza would simply grumble to herself with her gaze shifted to the attendant with disatisfaction. The attendant simply meekly walks backwards to her corner until called upon by her lord and lady. " To you Sensui, in the hopes that you do find the means of achieving your goals and settle this dispute amongst the Uchiha. " Hoshikageru would lift his sake cup to Sensui before taking a taste, Lady Hatsumomo would too have a try in an elegant manner that few women manage such grace. " Now tell me, what brings you both here? " The lord asks after downing his cup.
