Practiced with -it- again today. Today was a good day, no burns. Skill with katon and raiton continues to increase, though control and aim are the primary aspects to focus on. Tomorrow will attempt moving target practice. Mixture of (parts of this have been blacked out, and scribbled over multiple times, then bits written into the margins) shows to have promise, though fitting one to the other seems to still be the best option.

Good storm for practice today, should have made raiton easier to work with. Exploded a tree on accident, got splinter in knee. Removed with minimal blood loss, minor limp expected until fully healed. Spent rest of storm watching heavens bolts fall to the land. (there are water marks on these pages, as if someone was out in a storm writing this)

Day off. Spent time with sister, learned much. Spent afternoon sneaking around. Followed the blind girl for a while, got distinct feeling she knew I was there. Probably time for new shoes. Spent evening trailing civilians from one end of town to the other. Located potential new shoes, need to search for other possibilities before confirming purchase. Cooked own dinner. Was burned.

Discovered element.  Notably more destructive then its components, excessive damage to live targets.  Work beginning on mastering this element.  New shoes acquired, will commence shadowing of Yuki again to test effectiveness.

Morning. Shadow of Yuki successful for 17 minutes, before apparent no longer hidden.  Unsure as to reason behind detection, will begin using jutsu to help in hiding.  Afternoon. Tai practice, excessive leg work, quite sore.  Evening. Soaking in hot springs until legs ceased protesting.

Mission today.  Tracked down lost cat for local store owner.  Owner of cat excessively pleased at return of pet, cat seemed less so.  Obtained 17 injuries of various sizes from claws and teeth.  Writing up suggestion for armor to be added to standard genin equipment for future animal rescue missions.

Furthered training, senko coming along. Ramen for lunch, excellent. Saw Mizuki, followed for one block, decided less dangerous target was in order, followed guards on patrols. Guard captain cheating on wife with local man. Noted for further use.

Mission into land of sand. Demons infesting area, seeking to devour Dōjutsu as well as Jinchūriki. Punched one with katon, not very effective. Discovered urn to help with demonic forces, evaded trap. Mission successful. Note: Soiton bubbles weak against poking.

Learned weapon jutsu, effective for multiple weapon attack. Mizuki and Ikari focusing upon genjutsu, further training against genjutsu required. Ramen for dinner, excellent

Another mission today, covenant forces blocking roads. Killed second enemy of career, senko blow through chest. Searched camp, found shipping calender pertaining to homeland. Dangerous information, much went into gaining it. Furthering training, must discern way to target enemy eyes.
