It's a roleplay server, and while I have no grievance with having to wait for a rescue there should be more guarding/roleplay.
I conceded my fight because I thought the roleplay would be interesting, but it seems like that's an extra token pocketed without obligation for followup role-play during the captivity.
I think there should be an obligation towards spending time with captives, if possible. Possibly in the form of escape rolls if players responsible for you are online in some form but you are not being guarded.
