*(before you read please excuse all the grammar i am really terrible at these kind of things)
Ren Mikumi During the time skip
Gaining his kumo headband, Ren graduated the Kumogakure Academy and became a Shinobi. Ren's dream had finally started and his family was proud of him. He was then immersed in training like others to become a Mikumi to live up to his name. Ren's body was not quite ready to begin Mikumi Clone training he was trained in Taijutsu and Raiton Jutsu. Ren's first missions where simple D rank missions, more of tasks ranging from gathering plants, water, and anything the village may need to finding a nearby villagers cat. It was like this for some time but he was not bored with it and found it to be more relaxing then going home. When Ren got home he didnt get to relax right away and went straight into training in Taijutsu one day and Raiton Jutsu another. Often times while on a D rank mission Ren would find a tree to rest under a tree to take a nap to prepare himself to what awaited for him back at home. Eventually Ren's body had become read to begin training in his family's Hijutsu and no time was wasted on teaching Ren how to properly reproduce a near perfect clone of himself. In the beging it was pretty tough for Ren and his family had requested that Ren no receive furhter missions until his training had shown better results. Soon after Ren no longer had any missions come in and when he woke up he went straight into training in his families Hiijutsu when he woke till before he went to sleep. He barely trained in Raiton Jutsu or Taijutsu due to his families wishes to bring Ren to par with his cousins. After a while of not leaving the compound Ren woke one morning with a letter being handed to him by his father, opening it and reading it Ren became excited that he was given a C rank mission. It wasn't that because the mission was finally something more then a D rank mission for his excitement but his excitement came from knowing that he'd finally be stepping out of the compound and feel normal again. Little did Ren know that on this particular mission his hard work and training would flourish and given recommendation to the Chunin exams Ren's mission was to escort a new priestess to a shrine that was a day and a half away from the village. Ren was to watch over the girl with the assistance of one of his Uncle's whom would watch over the mission, but not only that... the progress Ren had made and the actions he would take if something where to happen, to which he sure was only a mater of time. Setting of toward the shrine Ren was quite for most of day and it wasn't until they set up camp for the night did Ren say anything to the girl. The conversation was short knowing that he needed to get some rest for the rest of the journey to the shrine. Ren was nervous the entire night that something would happen while he slept though his uncle reassured him and told him to go back to sleep. Waking up to find his uncle packed and ready to go he told Ren that he would scout ahead. Ren and the girl shortly on the road again making their way to the shrine which wasnt to much further. From the camp the two talked quite a bit about growing and both of their lifestyle's he had chosen to live. Right as the two were connecting Ren stopped in his tracks looking down the road to see a group of men sitting on some rocks on the side of the road a few getting up to block the path while others tapped their feet a bit watching the two smiling a bit, there was one man who stood out from the others, Ren knew that this was not just some ordinary group resting on the ground. “Thats Tabi” the priestess whispered to Ren as they stopped and the two groups looked to each other waiting a moment to see what each other would do. “Finally priestess... feels like I have been out here a while waiting for you” Tabi would say as the men around him chuckled a bit getting up from there seated positions withdrawing their bladed weapons. Ren would step forward putting himself in between The priestess and Tabi's group. Without saying another word Tabi's men to the count of 4 would come rushing forward. Ren would run forward to meet them head on as he turns his body to gather the momentum and sends his foot toward the closest ones chest sending him back, one down Ren would be thinking as his hand comes up to redirect the momentum of the next attacker's wrist to cause the blade to miss him, then brings his elbow up to drive it into his face causing the second to stagger back. He then quickly reaches onto his side leg withdrawing a kunai and turning to meet the knife the two locked pressing against each other. Ren would then jump back to get away from him however did not notice that the 4th had been ready and slammed his fist into Ren's face causing him to go to the side and roll to the ground a bit. Ren laid there for a moment as ren got up he looked two the four who where getting ready to come at him again and looked over to his side at the priestess, “to many, we need to run” Ren would call out running to the side grabbing her by the hand and heading into the Forrest and as they entered he threw a smoke bomb to the ground to cover his withdraw, but as he expected he was being chased. He had a few options one of which was to keep running to his Uncle returned. Ren would do what he had to slow his pursuers placing tags on tree's and igniting them... but he quickly learned that this plan was impossible as the priestess began to lose her breath and could run no longer run any further... In a small clearing the two had to stop, Ren grabbed a kunai from his side and brought it up... preparing himself. The 4 figures came through the forrest with Tabi right behind them. “Cant run any further?” Tabi said with a grin on his face. Ren's face looked as if he was ready for whatever was to come. “Kill the boy!” Tabi ordered and the 4 men rush forward, Ren answers by rushing forward to... it took seconds for the 4 to meet with Ren and the battle was fierce, Ren fought for his life sending his kunai into one of the men and did his best to defend against the other two while the one fell back a bit to recover from his kunai wound. It didnet take long before Ren was hit hard by the man that hit him sending him back … laid out on the ground motionless, The priestess called out for Ren but with no answer … Ren's arm would come up slowly to try to support himself to bring his body back up but lost the strength and fell back to the ground. The priestess screamed for Ren but again, no answer and not even a movement... The 3 moved past Ren and begain making there way to the priestess.
Suddenly an kunai landed in between the group already ignited, it would explode and send the three away and lay motionless to the ground. Ren would come flying over and landing on the ground looking up and their eyes would meet as his fist came up and in that moment Tabi realized that he had fallen into Ren's trap... Ren summoned a clone with the within the smoke bomb and switched with the clone hiding and let Tabi and his group run ahead, He wasnt just running but looking for the perfect place to ambush his 4 men and catch him off guard, The only thing that Tabi couldn't figure out is... How did his clone last as long as he did... and only one thought would enter his mind right as Ren's fist smashed and drove deep into Tabi's throat... “Mikumi”
A clapping could be heard over the priestess sobbing... confused but happy, Ren would look to his side to see his Uncle... his uncle must have been watching the entire time. The three after settling the priestess down a bit continued on the mission and once they entered the shrine the mission was a success. Ren said good bye to the priestess and returned home, upon arrival back Ren's uncle told Ren to go relax and take the day off while he took care of the rest. Ren was recognized for his actions and was shortly sent to Suna to help with the war effort and was recommended to enter into the Chunin exams
