Rumors carried through the Lands

Whispers in the bars, the arena, numerous other public establishments and bazaars, rise in number. The public growing suspicious of the rumors that were beginning to spread through the villages.

Villages bordering Water Country have begun being attacked at night. Survivors whisper of a woman cloaked in black, entering the villages, and then dozens of people swarming over their walls or into the village shortly after, overtaking the villages. The survivors of these attacks report bite marks on the bodies left behind, as well as the corpses being dessicated. No signs of the attackers remaining and a distinct lack of bodies, at least half of them disappearing.

*At first Conall thought these were simply random rumors but as the rumors grow he starts wondering, maybe they were true?  He decided to head to the library to research as much about this as he could.  If he finds nothing he would even head out to water country and begin observing from a distance to see exactly what happens.*

Shi would soon hear of the rumours through her various travels between Sunagakure and Kumogakure and the inns in-between. Taking interest in these odd encounters simply on the fact that the people attacked and killed seem to be disappearing along with the attackers, thinking this may have something to do with her 'family' in some way.
